Giants vs. Cubs, Starting Lineups: Chris Stewart Filling in Nicely Behind the Dish

What can fans of the San Francisco Giants expect after their 30 hit, 19 run day at Wrigley Tuesday? Probably a low scoring pitcher’s duel….

Chris Stewart will be back behind the dish to catch Timmy this evening, and after their last outing together against the Twins I quickly lost my last shred of doubt that Timmy would need more time to adjust to life without Buster. He doesn’t brign the pop with his bat like Buster, but he’s caught 63% of base stealers so far as a Giant, and play’s great defense. Not too shabby.

As for the rest of the lineup, Emmanuel Burriss gets the start at second today while Miguel Tejada will start at shortstop. Nate Schierholtz will be in right field, Cody Ross in left, and Andres Torres in center, leading off.
