Giants vs. Indians Preview: Madison Bumgarner Looking for Series Sweep of Tribe

With two wins over the Cleveland Indians by the skin of their noses already in the books, the San Francisco Giants are looking to earn a series sweep against the Tribe Sunday evening at AT&T Park. This year's hard luck starter, Madison Bumgarner, will be looking for his fourth win of the season and a little retribution from his nightmare of a start earlier this week against the Twins

In only 1/3 of an inning Bumgarner (3-9) allowed eight earned runs on nine hits leading to a dominating 9-2 Twinkies win, but hopefully can bounce back this evening and get back to his ways before hand where he had nine quality starts in a row. A little run support to back the guy wouldn't hurt either.

The Giants will have to deal with Fausto Carmona (4-9) who is coming off a rough start of his own. Carmona allowed seven runs in four and 2/3 innings of work against the Rockies while striking out none. Needless to say both Carmona and Bummy would like to get it going tonight.

First pitch is set for 5:05 p.m. PT this evening with coverage on ESPN and KNBR 680 AM.
