It’s another beautiful day in China Basin, perfect for a little baseball action between the San Francisco Giants and Cleveland Indians. The G-Men rallied to top the Tribe Friday night, and now turn to Matt Cain to clinch the series with first place Cleveland.
Cain is currently on a three game win streak, posting a 2.43 ERA and a .187 batting average against him over that span. He also is only 11 strikeouts away from career number 1000, something he may be able to reach today.
As for the lineup, not much change from Friday. Miguel Tejada will start at shortstop in lieu of Brandon Crawford, Cody Ross will start out in left field, while Nate Schierholtz will be in right.
