Now that the San Francisco Giants have ended their five game losing skid behind another brilliant performance by Ryan Vogelsong, they will turn to the top of their rotation as TIm Lincecum will take the mound against the Minnesota Twins at AT&T Park.
Lincecum (5-6 3.39 ERA) struggled a bit as of late, racking up back to back loses in his previous two starts. But Timmy always seems to fare well at home, and is facing a team without a lot of previous experience against him, which usually leans in the pitcher’s favor.
Timmy will take on Brian Duensing (4-6 4.82 ERA) for the Twins, who is coming off a win against the San Diego Padres, holding them to two runs in six innings of work.
First pitch is set for 12:45 p.m. PT this afternoon with coverage on CSN Bay Area and KNBR 680 AM.
