Giants vs. Marlins, Starting Lineups: Injury Stricken G-Men Roll Out New Look Lineup

With the injuries for the San Francisco Giants mounting up, skipper Bruce Bochy has gone from having too many players for given positions to almost not having enough. Brandon Belt, Brandon Crawford, and Chris Stewart will likely see a good amount of playing time now that they’ve been called up for San Francisco, and the effects these injuries/call ups will have on the season as a whole are likely major.

Emmanuel Burriss will get the start at shortstop while Eli Whiteside will be behind the dish. Get used to this Giants fans, they might be there a while. Aaron Rowand will start in left field while Cody Ross will be in right, moving Nate Schierholtz back to the bench.

And no, Scott Cousins isn’t in the starting lineup for the Marlins. He’s likely in the witness protection program or back on a plane to Florida already if he’s smart. I think Giants fans have found a new number one atop their most hated players list, even if he did go to USF.
