The good times were rolling at AT&T Park, that was until the Florida Marlins came to town. Now the San Francisco Giants have to try and begin a new home winning streak this evening in their second match of the series with the Fins.
Madison Bumgarner (1-6 3.71 ERA) will be looking to earn his second win in a row after his great outing in L.A. last Thursday, but the Marlins Chris Volstad (2-3 5.73 ERA) will be gunning for a win of his own. Volstad has had almost the same amount of success against San Francisco as his rotational predecesor Ricky Nolasco, with Volstad sporting a 1-1 record with a 1.20 ERA against the Giants.
The Giants offense will also be trying to show some signs of life after they left 8 runners of base last night, getting shutout for the first time since May 2 against the Nationals in D.C.
First pitch is set for 7:15 PT this evening with coverage on CSN Bay Area and KNBR 680 AM.
