Giants vs. Nationals, Starting Lineup Preview: Pat Burrell Remains in Clean Up Spot

The San Francisco Giants are trying to salvage a series spit with the Washington Nationals this afternoon, but I’m sure there will be other thoughts on the mind of many a fan at Nationals Park today. The Nationals are holding a Military Appreciation day for today’s game, and with the news of the killing of Osama bin Laden, I’m sure the place will be ripe with patriotism and chants of “USA!” Who knows, maybe President Obama might even show up for a few hours of relaxation with America’s pastime after his epic win against terrorism yesterday. There’s nothing more patriotic than a day out at the ballpark.

In actual baseball news, Pat Burrell remains in the clean up spot today, while Cody Ross in back in right field after his day off yesterday.
