Giants vs. Dodgers, Starting Lineups: Bruce Bochy Goes With Veterans For Series Opener

As the San Francisco Giants roll into Chavez Ravine to face the rival Los Angeles Dodgers, Skipper Bruce Bochy is looking for a lineup that can hopefully break the spell that Clayton Kershaw holds over Giants hitters. Boch is going with the veteran crew with Aaron Rowand back in center and leading off, Pat Burrell in left and batting cleanup, and Miguel Tejada and Mark DeRosa at shortstop and third base respectfully. Freddy Sanchez’s swollen left knee is good enough to go and will be in his normal spot at second base, batting second.

The lineup is ripe with players currently coming out of\right smack in the middle of a slump, so hopefully they can get some good wood on the ball and plate some runs for Matt Cain.
