Giants vs. Rockies, Starting Lineup Preview: Miguel Tejada Still at Shortstop

The San Francisco Giants are about to begin their second series on their 7 game road trip in the Mile High City at Coors Field Today, with Tim Lincecum on the mound looking to extend his scoreless innings streak. There are some interesting lineup changes to note, so let’s take a look.

Skipper Bruce Bochy has not only slated Nate Schierholtz to start this afternoon, but he will bat 5th, one spot ahead of Cody Ross. As you may recall Nate hit a monster shot to the upper deck in right field last time at Coors, and the Giants always need another left handed bat in the lineup.

Miguel Tejada will be at shortstop much to the chagrin of many a Giants fans after he recorded his 6th and 7th errors of the year on Saturday, a team high.
