The San Francisco Giants are starting to get healthier as the got Mark DeRosa and Andres Torres back from the DL today, and lo and behold, both are in the starting lineup today. DeRosa will get the start at third base, giving the slumping Miguel Tejada the day off, while Torres will be in center field, moving Aaron Rowand to left and benching Pat Burrell. Cody Ross is in right, effectively moving Nate Scheirholtz back to the bench, while Mike Fontenot will remain in the number three spot in the lineup playing shortstop.
To make room on the roster, Ryan Rohlinger will be going back to AAA Fresno, while either Darren Ford or Emmanuel Burriss will be demoted as well. More to come when they decision is made.
