Giants vs. Dodgers, MLB Schedule Preview: Pablo Sandoval Moving on Up in the Lineup

As the San Francisco Giants are set to finish their four game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers this afternoon, skipper Bruce Bochy is once again making some moves with his lineup card for today’s matchup at Dodger Stadium.

Pablo Sandoval was scratched for Mark DeRosa yesterday, but in the first two games he was batting eighth in the lineup, but today he was moved up to fifth. Maybe Pablo had a great batting practice session today, or maybe Bochy is trying to boost his confidence, either way I think Pablo will have a much better chance of doing some damage and get some RBI’s in the 5th slot, batting directly behind the big hitters for the G-Men (if we really have any).

And now…your San Francisco Giants:

CF Andres Torres
2B Freddy Sanchez
RF Aubrey Huff
C Buster Posey
3B Pablo Sandoval
LF Pat Burrell
1B Brandon Belt
SS Miguel Tejada
SP Barry Zito

Dodgers Lineup:

SS Rafael Furcal
2B Jamie Carroll
RF Andre Ethier
CF Matt Kemp
3B Juan Uribe
1B James Loney
C Rod Barajas
LF Marcus Thames
SP Hiroki Kuroda

Just as a reminder, first pitch is set for 5:05 p.m. as can be seen on ESPN2 and heard on KNBR 680.
