Giants vs. Nationals, Starting Lineup Preview: Lineups Set for Today's Matchup

The San Francisco Giants elongated road trip keeps on rolling as the G-Men make their first stop in Washington D.C. this season to face the Nationals. San Francisco couldn’t ask for a better way to start this series with Tim Lincecum on the mound after the team got a solid win yesterday against the Pittsburgh Pirates by a score of 5-2. Timmy will square off with Jason Marquis for the Nats hoping that the offense can get him some early runs to let him settle in and go deep into the game. Lincecum’s longest outing this season was April 18 against the Rockies when he went for 7.2 innings in the Giants 8-1 victory, hopefully a similar outcome will occur this afternoon.
