The San Francisco Giants are off to a decent start to the 2011 campaign, but from a fanhood standpoint, they're soaring higher than ever.
Comcast SportsNet Bay Area released their television ratings for the Giants home opening weekend, and were the number one rated network in all of the key demographics for Friday and Saturday's telecasts in and around the Bay Area. The celebratory banner-raising and championship ring ceremonies were incredibly popular, and rightfully so, seeing that Giants fans had waited 56 years to see their team reach the championship promise land. It goes without saying that the black and orange are beloved in the Bay, and the numbers definitely don't lie. Here's a breakdown of each broadcast by demographic and the incredible numbers they drew:

That is a whole lot of love for the Giants right there.

So keep it up G-Men fans, you wouldn't want to miss a minute of the action with this team this year.
