The upcoming comic book convention WonderCon will be in San Francisco April 1-3, and to commemorate the San Francisco Giants World Series Championship, Marvel Comics has announced an exclusive Uncanny X-Men comic book cover celebrating the Giants epic 2010 season. The cover was created by artist Giuseppe Camuncoli and will be available for sale at the San Francisco based WonderCon, and features the likes of some of your favorite X-men (and mine) such as Wolverine, Cyclops, Gambit, Storm, Iceman, Colossus, and others wearing their black and orange superhero suits and baseball caps, surrounding the World Series Championship trophy. Super nerdy? definitely. Do I want one? Absolutely.
↵It will be the first time Marvel Comics comes to WonderCon as an exhibitor, and should be a great time for all of you out there that absolutely love comic book expositions. 'The Uncanny G-Men' comic book as I like to call it will be a variant to the Uncanny X-Men #534 cover, and will be in limited supply so make sure you head down there and grab yourself a copy.
↵Here's what Axel Alonso, Marvel's Editor-in-Chief said about the Uncanny G-Men cover:

↵"Being from San Francisco, I am ecstatic about how strong Marvel’s presence will be at WonderCon this year, and with San Francisco now the adopted hometown of the X-Men, it just made perfect sense to create a variant for this show which celebrated the city and its achievements."

So make sure you head down to WonderCon April 1-3 to get one for your collection!
