The San Francisco Giants have been breezing through their Cactus League schedule so far, but that doesn’t come without some tightly matched games. Despite their 14-4 record, the Giants have had to have late rallies in their past few Spring Training games and are somewhat reminiscent of their 2010 ‘torture’ campaign. With that in mind, the Giants are looking for an easier win as they will host the Milwaukee Brewers at Scottsdale Stadium today. Matt Cain will finally be getting back on the mound for the first time in a couple of weeks due to some shoulder inflammation while former Padre and Dodger Randy Wolf will get the start for the Brew Crew today. I almost hoped Cain would miss this start too and they’d move Barry Zito up a spot to face plunk Prince Fielder again, and maybe this time incite a benches clearing brawl in March. Wishful thinking.
