Game 6 of the 2010 NLCS just got a lot more interesting as Giants third baseman Juan Uribe hit a solo home run to right, giving the Giants a 3-2 lead heading into the bottom of the eighth inning.
As Uribe was rounding the bases, Giants starting pitcher Tim Lincecum was in the midst of warming up in the pen. Some have said it’s possibly his work on the side, but the eighth inning of the 2010 NLCS seems like an incredibly odd time for that.
And as I type this, Tim Lincecum is coming in to the ballgame. I’d imagine he’ll get the 8th inning, setting things up for Brian Wilson in the ninth.
