In a game that is really getting more exciting by the batter, the Giants find themselves back on top with a 5-4 lead over the Phillies after a huge RBI double by the formerly benched Pablo Sandoval. After Pat Burrell walked to lead off the inning, Cody Ross continued his torrid NLCS with a double down the left field line.
Sandoval then came up and after just missing a double down the right field line, Sandoval took a high fastball into left-center field plating Burrell and Ross. Sandoval had sat through the first three games before getting the start in part due to Juan Uribe’s sore wrist.
The Giants will likely send Javier Lopez to the mound in relief of Santiago Casilla as the Phillies send up the top of their order in Victorina, Utley, and Polanco. It seems safe to say that no lead is safe at this point, so buckle up and get ready for a wild final third of the game.
