The Giants have a little something going in the bottom of the fifth inning as Aubrey Huff hit an RBI single to score Andres Torres who walked to lead off the inning. Torres advanced to second after third baseman Placido Polanco bobbled an Edgar Renteria grounder and could only get Renteria at first. Huff hit a line drive up the middle and Victorino’s throw was late.
The Giants now trail 4-3 with Buster Posey coming to the plate. Charlie Manuel came to the mound after the RBI and has brought in the age-less Jose Contreras to face Buster Posey.
