Giants-Phillies NLCS Game 2: Jimmy Rollins Breaks Game Open, Phillies Lead 6-1

The Giants pulled Ramon Ramirez after he gave up a run, but subsequent reliever Santiago Casilla was unable to stop the bleeding as he gave up a bases clearing double to Phillies shortstop and Bay Area native Jimmy Rollins. The Phillies now lead 6-1 and are close to evening this series at one game apiece.

A bonus for the Phillies is that they will get at least eight innings of work out of starter Roy Oswalt as he has held the Giants to two hits and thrown 88 pitches through seven innings. The Phillies have J.C. Romero and Ryan Madson getting loose and with an off day tomorrow they might look to get their relievers some work to keep them fresh.
