After Roy Oswalt rolled through his half of the first inning in this 2010 NLCS, Giants starter Jonathan Sanchez struggled immensely in his half while only giving up one run. Sanchez walked a pair of batters around a Mike Fontenot error that put Placido Polanco on base. He then walked Jimmy Rollins to force in Chase Utley.
Through one inning, Sanchez has thrown 35 pitches. The Giants had Guillermo Mota starting to get loose, but with Sanchez getting out of the inning Mota will sit back down. For more in-game discussion, check out McCovey Chronicles.
