Giants-Phillies 2010 NLCS Game 1: Giants Take 4-1 Lead On Huge Insurance Runs From Burrell And Uribe

The San Francisco Giants received huge contributions in the sixth inning from Pat Burrell and Juan Uribe to expand their lead to 4-1 and give Tim Lincecum a sizable cushion.

After Freddy Sanchez and Aubrey Huff grounded out to start the inning, Buster Posey singled to left. Pat Burrell got a key ball called with two strikes and on the next pitch drove a blast to left center that drove in Posey. Halladay subsequently complained to the umpire but it was all for naught.

Nate Schierholtz pinch-ran for Burrell and was driven in on a single up the middle by Juan Uribe. In between innings, Schierholz took over in right field and Cody Ross moved to left field.
