John Shea is reporting that Mike Fontenot will replace Pablo Sandoval in the lineup and at third base today against the Braves. Sandoval is 1-for-6 at the plate with an error at third base in the LDS thus far. Throw in a September in which he hit .207 and it’s really not too surprising that he’s finally been benched.
