The San Francisco 49ers have a 3-0 lead over the Green Bay Packers after one quarter of play.
Neither team was able to put together a lengthy possession leading to a touchdown, but Alex Smith and Aaron Rodgers still managed to throw together solid statlines. Smith was 4-5 for 41 yards, while Rodgers was 6-8 for 40 yards.
San Francisco wide receiver Randy Moss recorded his first reception of the season -- a 20-yard gain -- to help set up the 49ers for a 40-yard David Akers field goal.
The 49ers recorded two sacks, one from linebacker Aldon Smith and the other from cornerback Carlos Rogers. Each team had roughly the same time of possession.
Oh, and in a moment that surprises no one, head coach Jim Harbaugh got very upset and made some funny faces.
