Seventh-round draft pick Cam Johnson seems ready to prove what he's capable of as a San Francisco 49er. Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area reports that he finally practiced after missing most of training camp with a knee injury. Johnson has been out of action the first few exhibition contests. It's unknown if he's been practicing at full strength since the 49ers close their practices to the media.
Other updates from 49ers camp include the following.
Outside linebacker Parys Haralson didn't appear to practice today as he wasn't on the field. Fellow OLB Eric Bakhitari wore a non-contact black jersey after sustaining a concussion against the Broncos.
Players who didn't practice include DeMarcus Dobbs, who suffered a left leg injury; running back Brandon Jacobs had a left knee injury; receiver/returner Ted Ginn who has a right ankle issue; and Mario Manningham, who is on leave after the death of his grandfather.
