With the 2012 NFL Draft in the books, guess what we're about to do?
You guessed it, another mock draft!
As if you didn't get enough this past weekend, SB Nation is already a year ahead of schedule by dropping its first 2013 mock draft.
It's never too early to take a look at next year's crop of steals, studs and flops and as it is currently situated, the San Francisco 49ers have the 24th pick in the draft and with it SB Nation has them selecting cornerback Johnthan Banks from Mississippi State.
SB Nation gives this reasoning behind the selection:
Improving the secondary, the corners specifically, could make the 49ers defense truly unstoppable.
A defense-first team with a defensive player as their first pick? Nope, that's not shocking at all. But who knows what will happen in a year? We will know in due time.
