2012 NFL Draft Results: Rams Select Isaiah Peed At No. 50

The St. Louis Rams used the 50th overall pick at the 2012 NFL Draft to select running back Isaiah Peed out of Cincinnati. Pead was projected by most for the third round, although many scouts liked his elusiveness and speed despite being a bit undersized. He ran for 1,259 yards and 12 touchdowns with the Bearcats last season.

It's been a big day for the St. Louis Rams, who have already picked twice in the second round. Those picks brought them Brian Quick out of Appalachian State and Janoris Jenkins out of Northern Alabama. They've acquired so many picks by trading down in the first round two times - first with the Washington Redskins from No. 2 to No. 6 (Washington drafted quarterback Robert Griffin III at No. 2) and then with the Dallas Cowboys from No. 6 to No. 14 (the Cowboys took cornerback Morris Claiborne), where they eventually picked Michael Brockers, the defensive tackle out of LSU.

The Rams will pick next in the third round assuming no other trades are made.
