2012 NFL Draft Grades: 49ers Receive A 'C' For Selecting A.J. Jenkins

With the litany of draft day trades that went down during the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft, there was a lot of extracurricular activities to be taken into account when placing any grades on the chosen players.

Well, SB Nation's Joel Thorman was sure to take everything into account before making his draft grades for the first round, giving the San Francisco 49ers a grade of 'C-Picks With Equal Potential And Question Marks' for their first round pick of wide receiver A.J. Jenkins.

49ers: A.J. Jenkins was considered by many to be a 2nd round pick, so this comes off as a bit of a reach. Jenkins spends a year with Randy Moss at receiver.

Jenkins was taken only three spots out of the second round, so he technically is almost a second-rounder as is. Nevertheless with the incredible defense they already have adding another receiving threat could go a long way for the 49ers success in 2012.
