With the No. 14 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the St. Louis Rams has selected Michael Brockers, a defensive tackle from LSU. This 2012 NFL Draft pick helps fill the Rams need on the defensive side of the ball with an outstanding athlete with tremendous upside.
After trading out of the two spot to the Redskins and then the number six spot to the Cowboys already in this draft, the Rams finally chose Brockers, considered one of the best defensive tackles in this year's draft. The 6'5" 322 pounder had 54 tackles in 2011, and joins a St. Louis squad in need of some extra beef up front in the rush-heavy NFC West.
The Rams next pick is the 39th overall, 7th in the second round.
