Over at Niners Nation, SB Nation's compulsively devoted 49ers blog, they've been crunching the data for you viewing enjoyment of the 49ers possible first round pick in the 2012 NFL draft. Taking a sample of 30 prominent mock drafts around the interwebs, they've compiled a general database showing the consensus of who San Francisco might choose with their first round pick.
With the data compiled, it looks like most people the majority of mockers feel that grabbing an offensive guard in the first round is the most important, with Midwestern St.'s Amini Silatolu and Wisconsin's Kevin Zeitler getting most of the attention. Stanford's Coby Fleener was the old consensus, while Georgia Tech wideout Stephen Hill was another prominent name on the board, though most folks are leaning towards the O-line at this point.
Zietler and Silatolu are tied with six mentions a piece in the database, with the closest player after that is Stephen Hill with four.
