2012 NFL Mock Draft: Rutgers WR Mohamed Sanu Lands With Niners

The San Francisco 49ers were two devastating plays away from playing in the Super Bowl. But the biggest thing you could take away from that heartbreaking loss is that the 49ers defense is an elite, championship-level defense that just needs a little bit of help from its offense in order to take the next step and play for a title.

That's what SBNation believes it will do with the 30th pick in the NFL Draft as SBNation's mock draft has the 49ers selecting Rutgers wide receiver Mohamed Sanu. The Niners need to add some depth to their skill positions and after the Braylon Edwards experiment failed, looking for another wideout to pair with Michael Crabtree could be a good place to go early in the draft.

The junior wide receiver from South Brunswick, NJ recorded 1,206 yards on 115 receptions and seven touchdowns this season. At 6-2, 215 lbs., he brings great size to the position and will be able to run after the catch in the west coast offense.
