49ers Vs. Saints, 2012 NFL Playoffs: Bill Romanowski Says Crazy Things

If you're not familiar with Bill Romanowski, you should probably get acquainted with him. On the radio that is. I don't recommend it in person, not unless you have fancy health insurance--things might get broken (i.e. your face) if you try to get to know him.

He's quite mad you know. Take today, when he went on radio on 95.7 The GAME and offered his nuanced, analytical perspective on Saturday's playoff matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the New Orleans Saints. And while you read it, keep in mind Romo can be a perfect gentleman when he chooses to be.

95.7 The GAME (KGMZ-FM) NFL Analyst Bill Romanowski joined The Wheelhouse with John Lund today on "The Football Hour" to preview this Saturday’s New Orleans Saints vs. San Francisco 49ers playoff game.

On how the 49ers Defense must play to defeat the Saints:
They [the 49ers defense] got to lay some people out. This has got to be a stretcher game. I’m talking...bring out the stretcher and take [Marques] Colston to the hospital. Take Darren Sproles to the hospital, because he got knocked out.

We sure this isn't Bill the Butcher making these comments? Actually, take that back, Bill the Butcher had a sense of humor about violence. Bill Romanowski sounds like a man who's been beaten down by life one too many times, and all must pay for his sufferings with pain of all kinds.
