Frank Gore Injury: 49ers RB Should Be "Good To Go" For Saturday, Says Jim Harbaugh

Hey all. I feel we've discussed this before, but Frank Gore got hurt on Sunday and had to sit out a bit. Kendall Hunter had to come in and play a few snaps, and he ended up with a pretty positive result--scoring a touchdown! But Hunter has barely any experience and Gore's the man! Therefore Niners fans are panicking (kind of)!

The San Francisco 49ers don't see what the problem is with Frank Gore's injury though. Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area reports that Jim Harbaugh had this to say on the Sunday press conference call.

49ers coach Jim Harbaugh says of Frank Gore (right ankle): "Frank's status is, in my mind right now, Frank is good to go."

Gore being ready to go could be crucial since the Eagles are probably vulnerable against the rush. On the other hand, the Niners are probably vulnerable running the football. Neither team is particularly good at that aspect of the game, so something has to give. One thing 49ers fans don't want to think about is Alex Smith having to attempt pass after pass after pass just to keep the offense afloat, because that's been a recipe for disaster in the past.
