Bruce Miller Vows To Limit 49ers Offense, Continue Trend Of Mediocre Run Blocking

Yesterday, I talked about how 49ers fans might have a reason to celebrate, or rather, a reason to complain a lot less than they do now. Moran Norris is out against the Cincinnati Bengals and with him goes a lot of ire and annoyance. It's not the nicest thing to say, but don't shoot the messenger - I'm just observing. Bruce Miller will get the start, and if you paid attention to his recent interview ... you probably don't feel any better about the fullback position.

I'm going to try to do my best to bring what Moran brought to the offense.

So, according to Miller, he's putting in a lot of work learning how to whiff at linebackers, hitting the books to study the playbook in such a way as to indicate it must be upside-down when read, and investing heavily in his ability to go the exact opposite way he's supposed to. Miller's intentions, if he's true to his word, are simple: to limit the offense as much as humanly possible as many times as possible.

Let's just assume Miller's sights are set on bringing more to the offense than Norris, yes?
