49ers vs. Cowboys, Injury Report: Michael Crabtree Limited In Practice, Dez Bryant Sits

The San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys will square off in Week 2 in just four more days, and both teams will hope to have full or near-full squads for the game. Two 49ers had trouble in practice with injuries while six Cowboys found themselves restricted to some extent on Wednesday.

Wide receiver Michael Crabtree was limited in practice with a nagging left foot injury. The injury limited Crabtree to just one catch and four yards during San Francisco's Week 1 victory against the Seattle Seahawks an caused him to exit the game with pain. Crabtree hopes to play against the Cowboys but will continue to nurse his left foot in the meantime.

Dashon Goldson, the 49ers starting free safety, is dealing with a knee issue that kept him out of Sunday's game against the Seahawks. He was limited in practice today, like Crabtree.

On the other side of the ball, Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant (thigh), cornerback Terence Newman (groin) and cornerback Orlando Scandrick (ankle) did not practice at all on Wednesday. Most notable on this list is Bryant, the talented wide receiver that recorded 71 yards and one touchdown in the first quarter of last week's game against the New York Jets. He would leave the game with pain on the Cowboys' second drive of the game.

Three other Cowboys were limited during Wednesday's practice: cornerback Mike Jenkins (knee), guard Bill Nagy (neck) and linebacker Anthony Spencer (shoulder). Dallas has been hit especially hard at the cornerback position lately and will hope to get at least one of their three injured cornerbacks back ahead of Sunday's game.

These players have four more days to rest up and recover before Sunday's match-up. The game is scheduled to kick off at 1:05 Pacific Time on FOX.
