That's right San Francisco 49ers fans, you've been waiting for his moment since August of 2004. Brian Jennings, the 49ers long snapper, makes an appearance in an entrant of the latest Madden NFL title. Oh yes, it's true. These games haven't included long snappers in quite some time, since making the jump to next generation consoles. But now, the best long snapper in the league and premiere fourth-or-fifth string tight end, Brian Jennings, will be yours to control. I trust you'll take him to the Pro Bowl, and if you don't play with the 49ers, cough up one of those first-round picks to get him. It'll pay off every week.
↵But seriously - the ratings for the San Francisco 49ers have been released, and with them comes confirmation of Jennings' appearing in the game. He's rated a 61 in the game, as a tight end (which he officially is on the actual roster).
↵ESPN rolled out the ratings for the team yesterday, and the 49ers don't come out looking too badly. Some players got increases, like Shawntae Spencer and Josh Morgan, while others dropped, like Vernon Davis. Davis probably shouldn't have dropped, but that's just my opinion. Either way, the full link for the ratings is here, check them out. The game is set to release on August 30th.
