49ers Tickets Go On Sale Today Despite Lockout

We almost had an end to the NFL lockout just a couple days ago. Or at least, that's what we were all told by the league and its respective owners within the league. In reality, we only took another step into getting out of this hellish mess known as a "lockout", which is good but in some ways makes it all worse. The initial elation at the news that the owners had "ratified" something of substance was quickly stamped out by the fact that it was simply owners talking among themselves and congratulating themselves for how smart they must be.

Despite all of that, the San Francisco 49ers are proceeding as they normally would. They've had season tickets on the market for some time and those remain available, but today at 10:00 a.m. they're going to be selling single-game tickets starting at $64 through ticketmaster (online and 800-745-3000). So if you have faith in the lockout ending, make sure you snatch up the tickets for the games you want to go to.

I wish you good luck, as dealing with Ticketmaster is akin to actually being mugged while getting a dental operation. Godspeed.
