The NFL has just released the 2011 regular season schedule, and the 49ers have themselves three primetime games, two if you exclude Saturday. In a somewhat comical twist, the Jim Harbaugh-led team is traveling to Baltimore on Thanksgiving to take on the Ravens, led by John Harbaugh. We've got brother versus brother on a holiday that brings the family together: priceless! It wouldn't be a season if the 49ers didn't have a tough Monday Night Football matchup, and they've got the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 19th.
They've also got the Seahawks on Saturday, which is weird to see, as 49ers-Cardinals had become sort of a staple, but the regression of both teams has to be taken into account. The 49ers will also face their NFC West rivals, the St. Louis Rams at the end of the year, in an effort to make it more meaningful, as the 49ers and Rams are co-favorites to win the division.
