49ers Anthony Davis Fined $10,000 For Unnecessary Roughness Against Seahawks

San Francisco 49ers right tackle Anthony Davis earned himself some NFL fines for the second time this season after the league announced on Friday that he will have to pay $10,000 for unnecessary roughness during the Niners meeting with the Seattle Seahawks during Christmas weekend.

Per Mike Sando on Twitter:

Right before halftime Davis chopped Seattle's Anthony Hargrove from behind on a third-and-1 putting Hargrove in an awkward and vulnerable position. It was most certainly a penalty that should have been called, but Davis will have to pay up with cash instead of yards.

Davis was fined $25,000 earlier this season for tripping Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Justin Babin twice during the game, getting called for a penalty each time he did so.
