NFL Power Rankings, Week 10: CBS Sports Keeps Oakland Raiders, AFC West Bunched Up

CBS Sports released their week ten NFL Power Rankings and following a fairly depressing weekend for the division, the top three all dropped, but remain bunched together. The Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders were previously Nos. 13-15, but dropped to Nos. 16-18.

All three co-division leaders lost on Sunday as once again we have a division where nobody seems prepared to stake their claim. This reminds me of last year's NFC West where there were two 7-9 teams at the end of the year. I don't think the AFC West will produce a sub-.500 division winner, but they are not exactly playing inspiring football.

As we move ahead to week ten, the division gets to square off to clear things up at least a little bit. The San Diego Chargers host the Oakland Raiders on Thursday Night Football, while the Kansas City Chiefs host the Denver Broncos Sunday morning. We will have no more than two teams in first place. A Broncos win would then give us a three-way tie for second place, a single game back of the winner of Chargers-Raiders. It's not pretty, but somebody's gotta win it!

Here are your top ten according to CBS Sports:

1. Green Bay Packers
2. San Francisco 49ers
3. New York Giants
4. Baltimore Ravens
5. Pittsburgh Steelers
6. Detroit Lions
7. Houston Texans
8. Atlanta Falcons
9. New Orleans Saints
10. Cincinnati Bengals
