NFL Power Rankings, Week 11: CBS Sports Shows Oakland Raiders Taking 'Control' Of AFC West

The end of week ten of the NFL season means it is time for NFL power rankings to help us sort out the season to date. CBS released their week 11 NFL Power Rankings and the top two remained the same as the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers just keep on winning. If these two could run the table the rest of the regular season (a tall order) and faced off in the NFC championship game, that would be a fairly epic showdown.

CBS Sports bumped the Raiders from No. 18 to No. 14 as they went on the road and beat the San Diego Chargers. The AFC West is the tightest divisional race in the NFL at this point and divisional road wins are huge. The Raiders currently hold a one-game lead over the rest of the division. They lost a home game to the Kansas City Chiefs, but the Chiefs may have lost Matt Cassel for the rest of the 2011 NFL season. The Chiefs have been ravaged by injuries, so we will see if they can bounce back from this.

Heading into week 11, the division features some tough matchups. The Broncos host the New York Jets, the Chiefs travel to face the New England Patriots, the Chargers travel to face the Chicago Bears, and the Raiders travel to face the Minnesota Vikings. This could come down to the remaining divisional games, but every out of division win is huge for the eventual division winner.

Here is the top ten according to CBS Sports' Week 11 NFL Power Rankings:

1. Green Bay Packers
2. San Francisco 49ers
3. Houston Texans
4. Baltimore Ravens
5. Pittsburgh Steelers
6. New Orleans Saints
7. New England Patriots
8. New York Giants
9. Chicago Bears
10. Detroit Lions
