Montana then blasted Notre Dame for its treatment of his son, Nate, who was a seldom-used backup quarterback for the Irish before transferring to Montana last winter.

"What happened with my son and the reasons for leaving Notre Dame shouldn't happen to any kid," he said. "At this point in time, it’s hard to be in their corner."

Those are fighting words from Montana. I think he might have to reconsider his commitment to the 1974 Fighting Irish recruiting class.
