49ers vs. Lions Injury Report: Michael Crabtree Remains Limited In Practice

Two months ago, if someone were to say the San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions would face off in week six as two of the best teams in the league, would you have believed them? I'm guessing just about everyone would reply with a resounding 'no'.

That will be the case this weekend as the 49ers travel to Detroit to take on Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson and the undefeated Lions. San Francisco has quite a few players battling injuries this week. Here is the full practice report from Thursday:

Limited Participation in Practice:

WR Michael Crabtree (feet), S Dashon Goldson (knee), G Mike Iupati (knee), G Adam Snyder (forearm), DT Isaac Sopoaga (infection), CB Shawntae Spencer (toe)

Full Participation:

LB Navorro Bowman (neck), WR Ted Ginn (finger)

Lions:

Limited Participation:

With Josh Morgan out, look for Michael Crabtree and even Ted Ginn to be incorporated into the offense early and often. The 49ers do not want to get in a big deficit early against the Lions with their ability to score points in a hurry and strong play from Alex Smith and his receivers is a must if the team hopes to pull the road victory.
