If you've ever seen San Francisco 49ers pro-bowl linebacker Patrick Willis play before, you may have noticed that the dude is an absolute beast. Case in point was this past Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with Willis dominating the Bucs offense as well as the rest of the division after being named the NFC Player of the week.
↵Willis had 18 total tackles on the day, the most he has recorded since way back in 2008 against the New England Patriots, leading the 49ers dynamic defense while holding Tampa Bay to only three points and 272 total net yards (86 rushing, 186 passing). Willis becomes the first 49ers linebacker to be honored since 2006 when Brandon Moore was honored in week nine of the season.
↵The 49ers lead the NFC with 14 takeaways and a plus-10 turnover differential, needless to say the presence of Patrick Willis has a large part to do with that.
