The 2011 NFL Pro Bowl rosters were just released, and two San Francisco 49ers and three Oakland Raiders (two starters, one reserve) were selected to be on the roster. The Niners also have two alternates as well. Find out who after the jump.
San Francisco 49ers
Inside linebacker Patrick Willis: Willis picked up 136 tackles to lead the Niners, and had five sacks, second on the team to the other Pro Bowl selection. Willis was named to his fourth straight Pro Bowl in four years in the league, joining fellow Niner great Ronnie Lott.
Defensive tackle Justin Smith: Smith led the Niners with 5.5 sacks and 10 tackles for loss. He also led the team with 66 quarterback pressures and 42 quarterback hits. It's his second straight year being named to the Pro Bowl.
Vernon Davis was the first alternate tight end behind Tony Gonzalez. Davis led the Niners in catches, receiving yards, and touchdowns. Frank Gore is the fifth alternate for tailbacks.
Oakland Raiders
Cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha: The best lockdown corner in the NFL (and he didn't have an interception either!) earned his fourth straight Pro Bowl selection
Punter Shane Lechler: The Raiders had the highest net yardage per punt in the AFC.
Defensive tackle Richard Seymour: Seymour picked up 48 tackles as an interior lineman. He'll be the reserve behind Haloti Ngata and Vince Wilfork.
