Tyreke Evans, DeMarcus Cousins, Jimmer Fredette Lead Kings Over Timberwolves 116-108

The Sacramento Kings held on to beat off rally after rally to edge out the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Kings led comfortably for most of the game, but had to deal with a few Minnesota rallies before cruising to victory.

Sacramento shot 50% from the field, hit seven of 23 threes, and nailed 23 of 28 free throws, also outrebounding Minnesota 46 to 35. Tyreke Evans led the Kings with 24 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists, DeMarcus Cousins put up 20 points, nine rebounds (seven offensive), Jimmer Fredette added 19 points, Isaiah Thomas added 17 points and five assists, then Terrence Williams put up 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Kevin Love put up 23 points and seven boards to lead Minnesota, Nikola Pekovic added 17, and Luke Ridnour put up 13 points and six assists before leaving the game with a foot injury. The bigger issue could be Marcus Thornton, who had to leave the game after a tough-looking injury early in the contest.
