Kings Vs. Mavericks Final Score: Sacramento Picks Up 110-97 Win Over Defending Champs

The Sacramento Kings hosted the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night, hoping to add to the defending NBA champions' road game woes. The Mavs entered Friday night's game holding an 8-11 away record in the 2011-12 season. Somewhat surprisingly, the game was lopsided in the Kings' favor throughout and Sacramento picked up the 110-97 win.

The Kings outscored the Mavericks in every quarter, including a big 33-21 lead at the end of the first quarter. Marcus Jason Terry of the Mavs led all scorers in the game with 23 points. Marcus Thornton and Tyreke Evans each had 17 points for the Kings. DeMarcus Cousins had 15 points and five assists.

The Kings are now 10-6 when playing at home, although they hold only a 14-26 record overall.
