Sacramento Kings Handled Easily By New Jersey Nets, Losing 111-99

After beating the Utah Jazz on Friday night, the Sacramento Kings were thoroughly dismantled Saturday night against the New Jersey Nets after a 35 point first quarter. The Kings trailed by double digits for most of the second half and bowing out meekly .The Kings couldn't handle Anthony Morrow coming off the bench, as Morrow nailed six three pointers to really put New Jersey ahead to stay. Sacramento missed 14 of 17 three pointers and turned the basketball over 18 times (compared to 17 assists).

Deron Williams controlled the game for New Jersey, piling up 15 assists and 19 points. Kris Humphries put up 18 points and 12 rebounds, Gerald Wallace added 18 and Johan Petro put up 12. Tyreke Evans put up 23 points, six rebounds and five assists to lead Sacramento. DeMarcus Cousins scored 14 points and nine rebounds, but they all came in the first half. Marcus Thornton put up 13, Isaiah Thomas 11, and Jason Thompson got 10 and 10.
