Sacramento Kings Fall Back To Earth In 98-84 Loss To Phoenix Suns

The Sacramento Kings had a great Thursday night performance when they upset the Oklahoma City Thunder. But they fast learned their limitations when they couldn't replicate those efforts two days later against the Phoenix Suns.

Phoenix took the lead early and stayed on top for the entire contest. The Kings shot 35% from the field and had 16 assists to 16 turnovers. Meanwhile Phoenix moved the ball, shot 50%, while also distributing 27 assists compared to 15 turnovers, while also shooting 50% from the field. Steve Nash dished 15 of those dimes, Jared Dudley led Phoenix in scoring with 20 points and 10 rebounds, while Markieff Morris had 18 points, Channing Frye added 17, and Marcin Gortat had 15 of her own.

DeMarcus Cousins led the Kings with 26 points and nine rebounds, while Marcus Thornton had 21 points.
