Kings vs. Bucks Score: Sacramento Struggling In First Game Of Keith Smart Era

The Sacramento Kings are playing their first game without head coach Paul Westphal at the helm. While the team started off the game against the Milwaukee Bucks with good intensity on both ends of the court, it was more of the same by the time the second quarter rolled around. At the half, the Kings trail 58-37. Sacramento scored just 12 points in the last 14 minutes of the half.

Tyreke Evans played well to begin the game and leads Sacramento with 14 points at the break. DeMarcus Cousins, making his first start in three games, has eight points and five rebounds, although he has three turnovers and three fouls. Jimmer Fredette has just three points and made one of his four attempts from the field.

Brandon Jennings has dominated thus far and had 15 points and four assists in the half. Drew Gooden is on his way to a double-double with 14 points and seven rebounds. Stephen Jackson added 10 points off the bench, as well.

The Kings are playing their fourth game in five nights, so fatigue may be an issue, but this is nothing different from what Sacramento has done all season long.
