Sacramento Kings Defenseless Against Denver Nuggets, Fall 110-83

It was a standard demolition for the Sacramento Kings, who were outplayed in every quarter. Sacramento was down 10 after one, 17 at halftime, 21 after three quarters and ended up with a 27 point loss on their hands. The Kings never got going, and continue to be one of the worst passing teams in the league, managing 12 assists to 16 turnovers and shooting 32% from the field and under 10% from the three point line.

Marcus Thornton needed 20 shots to score 23 points, Tyreke Evans eight points on ten shots, John Salmons three points on seven shots, J.J. Hickson six points on nine shots, Jimmer Fredette seven points on 13 shots, Isaiah Thomas four points on nine shots. Meanwhile Denver shot 60% from the field and received efficient offensive performances up and down their roster.

The one bright spot had been the one big blotch the past few days. DeMarcus Cousins had his most efficient offensive performance, going 9 of 12 from the field and 8 of 9 from the line. But he only had three rebounds to go with his three blocks and steals, and Sacramento was outrebounded 50-36 by Denver. The Kings look miserable away from Power Balance Pavilion, and they have to be happy to be getting back home.
